I have had a passion for making images for many years, beginning with my first camera, a Kodak Brownie Starflash. Through the years, having progressed from film to digital I feel my capability as well as vision has evolved. While I very much enjoy capturing that perfect moment where subject, light and elements all come together to make that special image, I also enjoy the artistic freedom available to me through post processing programs. I feel that the image is able to take on a "double life", one as taken and another, if I so choose, artistically rendered. I feel there is room for both.
